In late 2017, we landed in San Francisco to meet three founders building the impossible…real holograms with no headgear. What we expected was a small office. Where our Lyft dropped us off at was someone’s house, protected by a front door with four deadbolts. We muttered to each other “this is either going to be very good or very, very bad.”
Four months later, we invested in Light Field Lab's wildly over-committed $7M Seed round. Today, they announced a $28M Series A that included Samsung, Verizon, Comcast, and Khosla Ventures.
